WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Mike Lee (R-UT) received unanimous support last week for the bipartisan Guarding Readiness Resources Act introduced earlier this year mandating that National Guard units receive appropriate federal reimbursements, ensuring their readiness in emergencies. The bill was cosponsored by 20 U.S. Senators and passed unanimously as an amendment to this year’s National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA).
