Utah First

This past week, my staff had the opportunity to attend an open house ceremony for the newly completed Dugway High School in Dugway, Utah. After the almost 10-year process of taking the school from conception to completion, I am happy to recognize the efforts of the community leaders that have brought this project to fruition. Without question, the new Dugway High School will be a tremendous asset to Dugway Proving Ground and the surrounding Skull Valley community.

The newly constructed Dugway High School will house grades K–12 and serve around 150 students. In addition to providing first-rate instructional space for students, the school has done a fantastic job at addressing the extra-curricular and athletic needs of the student body. As a benefit to the entire Skull Valley community, Dugway High will serve the children of the on-base service members at Dugway, as well as the non-military families of the surrounding communities.
