Senior Resource Fair April 19, 2018, from 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM MT, my office is sponsoring a Senior Resource Fair at the Midvale Senior Center. The Geography of Social Capital in America The Joint Economic Committee of the United States Congress issued a new “Social Capital Index” today that will help us begin that process. The Social Capital Index is a first time report that provides social capital scores for 2,992 of the country’s 3,142 counties, all 50 states, and the District of Columbia. It uses county- and state-level data on a range of social, economic, demographic, health, religious, and other indicators to measure the health of each locality's “associational life.” Learn More
